August 8, 2024 Re: Cancellation of Request for Proposal No. RFP-1529-23 Brand & Marketing - York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (YRRTC) On behalf of the Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise you that the Region has elected not to proceed with the above RFP. YRRTC’s branding and marketing direction continues to evolve and for this reason we will be looking at revising the scope. The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Proposals must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”), on behalf of York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (“YRRTC”), to prospective proponents for Brand and Marketing from professional firms with experience working with transportation and/or infrastructure organizations, agencies and/or any level of government to submit proposals for consulting services. For complete proposal details please refer to the RFP documents.
