The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to, renovations to the office space on the 3rd and 4th floors of the York Region South Services Centre located at 50 High Tech Road in the City of Richmond Hill. The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender (“RFT”) Pre-Qualification No. PQ-19-205: •BDA Inc. •Confra Global Solutions Inc. •H.N. Construction Limited •M.J. Dixon Construction Limited •855758 Ontario Limited o/a Twin Contracting •Stracor Inc. •Quad Pro Construction Inc. •Matheson Constructors Limited •1658796 Ontario Inc. o/a Renokrew •Van Horne Construction Ltd. •2231836 Ontario Limited o/a BB Building Solutions •Atlas Constructors Inc. •Rea Investments Ltd. o/a REA Construction •Pegah Construction Ltd. Bidders intending to submit a Bid must be one of the contractors pre-qualified under Request for Qualification No. PQ-19-205 as listed above. Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. The Bidders’ Meeting scheduled on May 26, 2020 at 9:30 a.m. has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Instead, the Region will provide photographs of the site. All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $75,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Certificate of Recognition (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
