The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-21-22 :
Bidders intending to submit a Bid must be one of the contractors pre-qualified under Request for Qualification No. PQ-21-22 as listed above. The following is a list of pre-qualified microtunnelling subccontractors that have been approved to carry out the microtunnelling work under this Contract, as qualified under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-21-24. Bidders must list one of the microtunnelling Subcontractors pre-qualified under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-21-24 (as identified below) for the microtunnelling component of the Work.
Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region is inviting Bids from qualified contractors to provide goods and services with respect to the Work. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of the Oak Ridges Air Management Facility located at 57 Kind Road, City of Richmond Hill. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. MEETING: A meeting for all potential Bidders will be held on November 3, 2021 starting at 2:00 p.m. at 57 King Road, Richmond Hill. The purpose of the meeting is to clarify information in the Bid Documents and to address questions regarding the Request for Tender as well as the electronic submission requirements. All questions and responses will be recorded through formal minutes of the meeting and will be issued in an addendum. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
