The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Scheduled inter-office and external courier services for the delivery of mail and packages between various Region locations, local area municipal offices, Council member locations, school boards, Canada Post, various Provincial locations and other locations as directed by the Region. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer in the amount of $10,000.00 
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certification: Bidders shall provide evidence of current, up to date training of all drivers providing service to the Region’s Public Health, Infectious Diseases Control, Healthy Living and Health Protection Divisions, on the requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
