The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 
 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The provision of security services including security personnel for all external and internal areas of various Regional buildings, parking lots and other locations, on a twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week basis, including statutory holidays, as well as the provision of security systems administration services and support, and operational staff for the Region’s corporate security department

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer in the amount of $250,000.00.  For complete details please refer to Appendix A section C.1.

• OTHER:

  Joint Venture or Consortium:  Proponents structured as a joint venture or consortium shall upload a PDF file containing the documentation required under section C.2 of Appendix A.

  Agency Licensing:  Proponents must be a licensed agency under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 as of Submission Deadline.  Proponents shall provide their firm's 6-8 digit agency license number as defined under the Private Security and investigative Services Act, 2005.  For complete details please refer to Appendix A section C.3.
