BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Deliverables include but are not limited to - Road resurfacing on Major Mackenzie Drive from 188 m east of Bathurst Street to 20 m west of Yonge Street in the City of Richmond Hill (Location A); Road resurfacing on Bloomington Road from 160 m east of Woodbine Avenue to 80 m east of Kennedy Road in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville (Location B); and Berm removal at the intersection of Leslie Street and Vandorf Sideroad in the Town of Aurora (Location C). Bidders are advised that the Deliverables will be performed during the 2023 construction season. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.
