The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED: The following is a list of prequalified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Proposal under Request for Prequalification No. RFPQ-1345-23:
Any bids received from bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work includes, but is not limited to, emergency and urgent repairs to watermains, sanitary sewers, sanitary forcemains, chambers, maintenance holes, and appurtenances and restoration of associated features including roads, curbs, sidewalks and boulevards, at various locations in the Region. For complete bid details, refer to the RFTC documents. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. BID DEPOSIT DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFTC documents. MEETING: Bidders are invited to attend an information meeting to be held on November 15, 2023, at 10am. Please contact sabrina.tecca@york.ca for the meeting invite. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. The Region's representatives will not be responding to Bidder's questions at the site visit. All questions must be submitted through the Bidding Website, as per instructions below. Any information received at the site visit is considered informal and shall not form part of the RFTC bid document unless issued via Addenda.
