The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS of Responses submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Pre-Qualification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - This Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) is open to all respondents to undertake a substantial modification to the existing Regional Municipality of York Archives space in the basement of the Administrative Centre located at 17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket, ON. The Archives space spans 6,000 SF comprising of an administrative area, archives vault and a corporate records center. This renovation will ensure suitable holding for archival records and material and will provide an upgraded mechanical system. Respondents are advised that the Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. Respondents must be registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA in order to submit a response to this RFPQ. Any responses received from Respondents who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
