The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISISONS submitted through the Region's Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISISONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to, building security patrols, security camera monitoring, and on-demand security services at 10415 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill and other HYI properties, as required. A general, and not necessarily complete or exact description of the Work is as follows:
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: The Contractor shall comply with all provisions of the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005 (PSISA) (Ontario Bill 159) and regulations thereunder, including the maintenance of all licenses required under the PSISA. As per PSISA, the Contractor shall possess a valid license to act as a security guard and a license to engage in the business of selling the services of security guards for the term of the Contract. Please refer to Schedule B, Section 3.2 for Mandatory Requirements. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or Wire Transfer in the amount of Five-Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00). BIDDER'S INFORMATION MEETING: A Bidders' Information Meeting will not be required in this RFT.
