The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids will be accepted from the following list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. P-19-73:
Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. Brief Description of Work - The Work includes, but is not limited to, various landscape maintenance and watering activities on Highway 7 in the City of Markham, the City of Richmond Hill, the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, and the Town of Aurora. The Work shall be performed on various types and sizes of planters, landscaped centre medians, planting beds, daylight triangles and two (2) roundabouts located within rights-of-way. The tender documents should be referenced for additional details. Meeting: The Bidders’ Meeting will be held on February 24, 2020 in meeting room 14150 at 145 Harry Walker Parkway in Newmarket, commencing at 10:00 a.m. Digital Bonds: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price; and a Labour and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 50% of the Estimated Contract Price and in a form acceptable to the Region. Certificate of Recognition (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
