BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work is for emergency repairs to roads and related road facility features in the Region of York as and when required as a result of, but not limited to, road failure, road embankment wash-outs, culvert failure, sinkholes and damage to road attenuation systems. PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED: The following is a list of prequalified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Prequalification No. RFPQ-921-22
Any bids received from bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.
