BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: A general and not necessarily complete or exact description of the work includes the removal of all grit, grease, and other debris or deposits from the wet well and inlet channel(s), including washing down the floors of all levels below ground level and any mechanical equipment that has been flooded and has residual sewage on it. MEETING: A non-mandatory Bidders Meeting will take place on September 23, 2019 commencing at 9:00 a.m. at the Georgina Sewage Pumping Station #4 (26953 Woodbine Avenue, Georgina). After the completion of the visit to the Georgina SPS, the meeting will travel to the Joe Dales SPS, 127 Joe Dales Drive, Keswick and then to the Keswick SPS, 211 The Queensway South, Keswick. Personal protective equipment is required. DEPOSIT: A bid deposit in the form of a certified cheque or bank draft in the amount of forty thousand Canadian Dollars ($40,000.00) is required for this tender. In lieu of a certified cheque or bank draft, Bidders may submit a Letter of Credit in the approved form. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Wessuc Inc. for Contract No. T-19-93 for Supply of all Labour, Materials and Equipment for the Provision of Wet Well Cleaning Services and Vacuum Truck Services at Sewage Pumping Stations in the Regional Municipality of York has been accepted in the amount of $556,715.43, excluding HST, for a contract term of one year and includes the option to renew the contract for two additional one year terms.
