The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalification. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Highway 7 East BRT project will allow York Region Rapid Transit Corporation (YRRTC), and York Region (the Region) deliver approximately 8 kilometers of transportation improvements along this corridor, directly enhancing mobility and supporting growth in the Region. The ECI services under this RFPQ includes input to the design of a BRT median rapidway, along with transit system upgrades and new stations in the Project area.
