The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Supplier Qualification (RFSQ). HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. 
 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The purpose of the RFSQ is to establish a roster of prequalified contractors to perform services, including the provision of vacuum and haulage truck services as required by the Region to respond to Emergency Work Incidents. The Deliverables include, without limitation, the remediation of any condition that has become or has the potential of becoming a hazard to the public, the environment and/or maintaining safe operation of the Regional water and wastewater system.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

• MECP Approvals: It is a mandatory requirement of this RFSQ that Respondents or their subcontractors shall have a current and valid Waste Management System MECP-issued approval or instrument for the management of waste and have a current and valid MECP issued approval. Respondents or their subcontractors that do not possess these two approvals will be deemed non-compliant and rejected by the Region for failure to meet this mandatory requirement.
