The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. DESCRIPTION: The Region is inviting Proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide the Services with respect to the Project as described in Schedule A – Scope of Work. The Services include, but are not limited to, undertaking a preliminary design, detailed design, contract administration, site inspection and engineering services for Markham Milliken and Fisher Elevated Tank Coating and Rehabilitation. MEETING: A Non mandatory Site visit will be held on December 1, 2022 at Milliken: 4355 14th Avenue, Markham, Ontario L3R 0J2, and Fisher: 60 Fisher Street, King City, Ontario N3T 0G4, commencing at 10:00 a.m. Face mask and Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn on site at all times.
Each representative must complete the following online screening form http://york.ca/contractorscreening prior to the site visit. Visitors will be asked to show proof of your COVID-19 screening form and business identification to site staff in order to enter the site. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFP shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. The Region will respond to all formal questions as an addendum to form part of this RFP.
