The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids will be accepted from the following list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. PQ-19-71: • 1434378 Ontario Inc. o/a Commercial Cleaning Services Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Work includes, but is not limited to, the supply of all labour, materials and equipment for Janitorial Services at the Facilities further set out in this RFT. As at the date of this RFT, there are 53 Facilities. MEETING: The Bidders’ Information Meeting will be held on April 22, 2022, commencing at 1:30 p.m. at the main entrance of The Annex at 17150 Yonge Street, Newmarket and is expected to last roughly 2.5 hours. The Administrative Centre at 17250 Yonge Street, Newmarket will be included in the Bidders’ Information Meeting. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount per Table 1 in section 1.14 for each Zone in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Bidder’s cumulative price for the first year of the Contract term for all Zones in respect of which the Bidder is awarded a contract. 2) Evripos Janitorial Services Ltd. for Zone 2 and Zone 3 in the amount of $2,094,066.28 excluding HST.
