BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This Request for Tenders (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for advance construction works on Yonge Street (Y.R. 1) from Davis Drive (Y.R. 31) to approximately 200 m north of Green Lane (Y.R. 19) in the Towns of Newmarket and East Gwillimbury PREQUALIFICATION REQUIRED: The following is a list of prequalified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Prequalification No. PQ-21-26
Any bids received from bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. For details regarding the bidders’ meeting, refer to the “Meeting Details” section below. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.
