The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-20-07 • Bennett Mechanical Installations (2001) Ltd. • Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. • Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region is inviting Bids from qualified contractors to provide goods and services with respect to the Work. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of the Refurbishments BiosolidsTreatment Replacement Contract 1 project at the Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plan(“WPCP”) located at 901 McKay Road, Pickering, including but not limited to upgrades to the North and South Incineration Facilities.. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. MEETING: Attendance at both Meeting is not mandatory but recommended. A Non mandatory Bidders’ site Meeting will be held on January 12, 2023 commencing at 09:30 am at Administration Building, Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant 901 McKay Rd Pickering, ON L1W 3A3.Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn on site at all times.
Each representative must complete the following online screening form http://york.ca/contractorscreening prior to the site visit. Visitors will be asked to show proof of your COVID-19 screening form and business identification at the site.
CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Bennett Mechanical Installations (2001) for Contract No. RFTC-937- 22-T-20-08 for the Construction of Biosolids Treatment Replacement Contract 1 at the
Duffin Creek Water Pollution Control Plant located at 901 McKay Road in the City of Pickering has been accepted in the amount of $31,784,700.00 excluding HST.
