BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - A general and not necessarily complete or exact description of the work is as follows: The Work includes, but is not limited to supply of all labour, material and equipment required for Catch Basin, Maintenance Hole and Curb Repairs at locations found within the Southeast, Southwest, Central and North Districts of the Regional Municipality of York for the year 2019. A bid deposit in the form of a certified cheque, bank draft or Letter of Credit. in the amount of $10,000.00 per part is required for this tender. Bidders are advised that the Region has implemented the Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) safety program, endorsed by the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA), as a requirement on Regional construction projects. Bidders must be registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA in order to submit a Bid in response to this tender, and/or to be considered for award of the Contract. Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bids received from Foggia Construction Ltd, Aloia Bros Concrete Contractors Ltd and Bennington Construction Ltd. for Contract No. T-18-288 for Catch Basin, Maintenance Hole and Curb Repair at Various Locations within The Regional Municipality of York has been accepted in the amount of;
Part A – $133,185.00 excluding HST, Awarded to Foggia Construction Ltd
Part B – $111,544.25 excluding HST, Awarded to Aloia Bros Concrete Contractors Ltd
Part C – $78,772.00 excluding HST, Awarded to Bennington Construction Ltd
Part D – $100,000.00 excluding HST, Awarded to Foggia Construction Ltd.
