The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - supply, installation and implementation of a new Integrated VoIP-based Nurse Call System at the Region’s two Long-Term Care (LTC) Homes and removal of the existing nurse call systems. The Work also includes equipment and software warranty, support and maintenance services for a period of 24 months following installation and implementation of the System. UNDERTAKING TO BOND; Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to the sum of the prices submitted for Phase 1 and 2 Work; and a Labour and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 50% of the sum of the prices submitted for Phase 1 and 2 Work and in a form acceptable to the Region. MEETING: A non-mandatory Bidders’ Site Visit is scheduled for January 10, 2020 as follows:

Re: Award of Contract No. P-18-45 Installation and Support of New Nurse Call System at Newmarket and Maple Health Centres
On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from KR Communications Ltd. for Contract No. P-18-45 for Installation and Support of New Nurse Call System at Newmarket and Maple Health Centres has been accepted in the amount of $1,204,432.00, excluding HST, for a contract term of 200 Hundred Working Days for installation of equipment and 24 months for the provision of equipment and software support maintenance and licensing services at both facilities.
