The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-274-21:
Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region is inviting Bids from qualified contractors to provide goods and services with respect to the Work. The Work is for the reconstruction and widening of the following roads in the City of Vaughan: Location ‘A’ – Dufferin Street (Y.R. 53) from 240m south of Apple Blossom Drive to 220m north of Marc Santi Boulevard; Location ‘B’ – Rutherford Road (Y.R. 73) from Peter Rupert Avenue to Bathurst Street The Work will include, but not be limited to, excavation and grading, culvert extensions, retaining wall replacement and rehabilitation, storm sewer replacement, watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer installations, street light and fibre optic installations, traffic signal installations and provisions, guiderail placement, asphalt paving and boulevard construction, including active transportation facilities. DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $250,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form. CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Fermar Paving Limited for tender No. RFTC-381-21-21-103 for Reconstruction and Widening of Dufferin Street (Y.R. 53), from 240m south of Apple Blossom Drive to 220m north of Marc Santi Boulevard, and Rutherford Road (Y.R. 73), from Peter Rupert Avenue to Bathurst Street, in the City of Vaughan has been accepted in the amount of $38,843,380.88 excluding HST.
