The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada.

BREIF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Deliverables include, but are not limited to, kitchen and gym HVAC upgrades at the Sutton Youth Services Shelter building located at 20898 Dalton Road in Sutton West in the Town of Georgina in Ontario. For complete bid details, refer to the RFT documents.

MANADATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount generated on the Bidding Website in the Schedule of Prices and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Appendix E and F..

BIDDER'S MEETING: Bidders are invited to attend a site visit / information meeting to be held on the date, time and place set out on the Bidding Website. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory.  For details regarding the site visit /information meeting, refer to the “Meeting Details” section below.
