 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK:  This Request for Tenders (the “RFT”) is an invitation by The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Construction project to complete Intersection improvements at two intersections: Donald Cousens Parkway and 14th Avenue, and Donald Cousens Parkway and Copper Creek Drive, in support of the South York Greenway.  The work will include road resurfacing, traffic signals, illumination, AODA intersection improvements, cross-rides, sidewalks, curb and gutter, pavement markings, and streetscape improvements.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who are not CORTM certified, who have not obtained CORTM equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.

DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $150,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.  Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid.
