The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The purpose of this RFP is to seek proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (DWBI) professional services for the Region’s Public Works Department. This RFP is not directed at one specific project. The Region intends to award a contract to one firm to call upon from time to time, depending on the Region’s needs, for consulting services related to existing on-premises and cloud-based Microsoft DWBI platform, as well as other Microsoft tools, on an as needed basis. As further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: It is a mandatory requirement of this RFP that proponents confirm they have the following consultancy experience services. Proponents must have experience in all of the following, failing which the proposal will be rejected for failure to meet the mandatory requirements of this RFP: For complete bid details please refer to the RFP documents. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc. for Contract No. RFP-1621-24 for Microsoft Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Professional Services has been accepted in the amount of $1,242,500.00, excluding HST, for a contract term of three years. (Term of Contract: Initial term: 3 years Renewal Option Term: one additional two-year term).
