The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Region is requesting Bids from authorized Symantec resellers for the renewal of Symantec Enterprise Security Subscriptions. It is a mandatory requirement of this RFT that Bidders must be a current authorized Symantec reseller to submit a Bid in response to this RFT. Questions related to this RFT shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Powerland Computers Ltd. No. RFT-675-22 for Symantec Enterprise Security Subscription Renewal has been accepted in the amount of $3,134,956.50, excluding HST. (Term of contract: 3 Years- Commencing December 28, 2022 and ending on December 27, 2025)
