Brief Description: The Region, on behalf of HYI, is inviting Bids from qualified contractors to provide goods and services with respect to the Work.  The Work includes, but is not limited to, roof replacement at North View Court, 37 North Street, Sutton, in the Town of Georgina.

Bidders are advised that a virtual pre-tender submission meeting will be held on June 28, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Please submit your intent to attend to lynn.charyk@york.ca on or before 12 noon on June 25^, 2021.  A link to the meeting will be provided once your attendance is confirmed.

All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $40,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario. 

Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price; and a Labour and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to 50% of the Estimated Contract Price and in a form acceptable to the Region.

Bidders are advised that, unless otherwise permitted by the Region’s Purchasing Bylaw, no bid shall be accepted from, nor shall any contract be awarded to, any Bidder with whom the Region is engaged in unresolved litigation.
