The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC RESPONSES submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this RFI. HARD COPY RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. DESCRIPTION: This Request for Information (RFI) is inviting Responses and seeking inputs from Waste management and MRF operation companies to determine the level of market interest, through an informal and non-binding process, on the future commercial use of the MRF and the equipment, prior to York Region’s blue box transition date. York Region invites Respondents to comment on the scenarios proposed and to provide additional alternatives for consideration by the Region. This information may, in the future, be used to inform the Region’s subsequent preparation of a future procurement process. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFI shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button.
