The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: he Region is inviting Proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide the Services with respect to the Project as described in the Schedule A – Scope of Work of the bid document. The Primary Trunk is the segment of the York Durham Sewage System (YDSS) starting from the intersection of Finch Avenue and Liverpool Road (Southeast Collector (SEC)) in the City of Pickering, and discharging to the Diversion Chamber within the Duffin Creek WPCP. The Primary Trunk is approximately 5km long, the diameter ranges between 2642mm and 3000mm. The main objectives of this Municipal Class Environmental Assessment are to:
MEETING: Bidders are invited to attend a non mandatory information meeting to be held on April 27, 2022 via Microsoft Teams, commencing at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All attendees are required to contact the Purchasing Analyst listed in the Bid Document or below on or before 12 noon, April 26, 2022 to request access to the Bidders’ Meeting. QUESTIONS: Questions related to this RFP shall be submitted to the Region through the Bidding Website by clicking on the ‘Submit a Question’ button. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from Jacobs Consultancy Canada Inc. for Contract No. RFP-415-21-P-20-101 for Consulting Services for the York Durham Sewage System Primary Trunk Sanitary Sewer Municipal Class Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Design has been accepted in the amount of $5,048,405.00 excluding HST. (Term of Contract: - Notice of award until December 31, 2025)
