The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The following is a list of pre-qualified contractors that have been approved to bid on this Request for Tender under Request for Pre-Qualification No. PQ-19-350:

  • Capital Sewer Services Inc.
  • Clean Water Works Inc.

Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - Rehabilitation of the Humber Jane Sanitary Trunk Sewer system from MH46-01A to MH95-A including, but not limited to:  

  • rehabilitation of approximately 177 m of 750 mm diameter concrete pipe with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner;
  • rehabilitation of 1 maintenance hole (MH) (MH46-01A);
  • rehabilitation of a 675mm diameter concrete external drop structure at MH46-02A;
  • repair of the existing CIPP liner at the MH-to-pipe interface at 4 MHs (MH46-02A, MH46‑03A, MH46-04A, and MH95-A);
  • replacement of the existing flap gate valve at the overflow structure with a duckbill valve;
  • rehabilitation of approximately 14.5 m of 900 mm diameter concrete overflow pipe with CIPP;
  • repair of existing liner at 300 mm diameter connection to MH46-02A; and,
  • repair of delaminated liner on MH46-04A benching.

Bidder’s Meeting:
An outdoor Bidder’s Meeting will take place to provide contractors an opportunity to review access to the Black Creek Pumping Station and the working areas:

Location: Meet at Highway 407 Subway Parking Station– 7332 Jane Street Vaughan.

All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of $150,000.00 and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Schedules A and B to the Bid Form.

 

Certificate of Recognition (CORTM): Any Bids received from Bidders who have not registered for the CORTM Safety Program with the IHSA shall be rejected from further consideration.
