The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Tender. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  Bids must be submitted and received by the Region not later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada. 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK – A general, and not necessarily complete or exact, description of the work is as follows:  The project is improvements to the Weston Road corridor by widening from four to six lanes and implementing active transportation facilities, and other roadway features (streetscaping, landscaping, transit facilities etc.). The limits of Weston Road corridor are between N/S-W Highway 407 ramp to Fieldstone Drive/Chrislea Road and from the future Bass Pro Mills Drive extension to Hawkview Boulevard.

Bids will be accepted from the following list of pre-qualified contractors as per Pre-qualification No. PQ-20-70:

•    Parson Inc. 

•    Stantec Consulting Ltd. 

•    WSP Canada Group Limited         

Any Bids received from Bidders not listed above shall be rejected from further consideration.
