BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Region is inviting Bids from contractors for Supply and installation of wire fence, and removal and disposal of old fence, in three York Region Forest properties., as further described in Section A of the RFTC Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• DEPOSIT:  All Bids shall be accompanied by a digital Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Subtotal Contract Amount and a digital Undertaking to Bond. The forms of Bid Bond and Undertaking to Bond acceptable to the Region are attached as Appendix E and F.
• SITE VISIT: Bidders are invited to attend a site visit / information meeting to be held on January 28, 2025. Attendance is recommended but not mandatory. Bidders are encouraged to submit any questions to the Region using the ‘Submit a Question’ feature on the Bidding Website a minimum of three (3) business days before the site visit / information meeting.
