BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK - The Work includes, but is not limited to the design, engineering, and manufacturing of custom-made communication modem boards. The boards will integrate with INIT Cellular Modem and support Rogers’ LTE network. The INIT Cellular Modem currently uses a Motorola G24 communication chip that supports Roger’s GSM/GPRS voice and data communications. The custom communication modem boards (CCMB) shall allow the INIT Cellular Modem to operate over Roger’s LTE and HSPA networks. On behalf of the Council of The Regional Municipality of York, I wish to advise that the bid received from NeuronicWorks Inc. for Contract No. P-18-253 for the provision of Design, Integration and Manufacturing of LTE Communication Modem Boards has been accepted in the amount of $561,887.50, excluding HST, for a contract term of three years.
